Description
The IE24 Input extension module has eight digital inputs; IE48 and IE230 have four digital inputs. Up to 7 extension modules (IE and/or OE) can be connected to one input- or output module (IM or OM). The digital inputs are wired on a terminal block.View

Schematic
The IE24 input extension has eight digital inputs, each with an input voltage of 24V DC. All inputs have a common 0V connection (GND) and are galvanically isolated from the logic of the module.
The IE48 input extension can be connected to up to four signal transmitters with a switching voltage of 12V - 48V AC or DC. The inputs are both galvanically isolated from each other and from the logic of the module.
The IE230 input extension can be connected to up to four signal transmitters with a switching voltage of 115V AC - 230V AC. The inputs are both galvanically isolated from each other and from the logic of the module.
