LSE-D16-AB Description

Funtion

The indicator unit LSE-D16-AB is used for the collective signalling of operating states. It has 2x 16 multicolour LEDs and is installed in the front of machines or control cabinets. A buzzer is also integrated which can be activated externally via a system input. Lamp test on the front as well as additional control elements for integration into a higher-level system complete the functionality.
All settings, such as the selection of the LED colours or the switching of the inputs between normally closed and normally open, are made via the push buttons on the front of the unit. The labelling is simply done with slide-in paper strips. The connection is made via plug-in screw terminals on the back of the device.

System Integration

In addition to its function as a local indicator unit, the LSE-D16-AB can be integrated into higher-level systems.
The connection is established via the network, and depending on the application, an outgoing internet connection may be required.
The LSE-D16 can be used as a universal input module for IoT systems and PLC controllers via MQTT or Modbus UDP.
The LSE-D16 also supports the APSdg protocol and can function as an I/O module for the APS Alert Cloud AAC and the APS TS400 alarm server.
Remote access and maintenance are ensured at no additional cost via the APS TribeRelay connection.

The LSE-D16-AB indicator unit is the replacement for the AS-D16 indicator unit. The functionality, size, parameterisation are identical.

LSE-D16-AB Programming

The programming of the LSE-D16-AB is carried out either with the web interface or the buttons in the front of the unit.

The parameterisation with the buttons on the front panel of the LSE-D16-AB has 6 programme levels:

1. Inputs Group 1 (red): Normally open / closed switchover
2. Inputs Group 2 (green): Normally open / closed switchover
3. Virtual DIP switch: time delays and system settings
4. Activation of the LT output as a common output priority 2
5. RGB colour setting of inputs group 1
6. RGB colour setting of inputs group 2

Levels 4 to 6 are deactivated in the delivery state. They can be activated in level 3 with the DIP switch 16.
