LSE Indicator unit

Description

General

The LSE indicator unit is used to signal up to 16 messages/signals.
The field of application ranges from the display in machine and apparatus fronts to the collective signalling of building services systems.
It is mounted in a standard cut-out. The devices are wired with the supplied screw plug-in terminals on the rear.
This ensures quick replacement and simple control measurements.
The LSE indicator unit is equipped with 16 LEDs for signalling and 1 green LED for indicating the system's operation.
The 16 LEDs are available in different standard colours. Individual colour combinations are also possible. The units are equipped with a button for lamp test (LT) on the front side. The horn acknowledgement (HQ) and lamp acknowledgement (LQ) buttons are not used. The lamp test (LT) can also be performed by an external button. The signal inputs are switchable in two groups of eight between normally closed and normally open. An on delay of 5, 60 or 600 seconds can be set for all signal inputs. The relays for collective and group alarm each have one contact with common potential. Normally closed or normally open can be selected for both relays.
The signal and supply voltage is available in various common variants. As a further option, devices with one output relay per input are available.

Function

Signal inputs
The signal inputs can be reprogrammed with the DIP switches 3 and 4 in two groups of eight to either normally open NO or normally closed NC.
With the DIP switches 10 and 11 a globally input delay of 0, 5, 60 or 600 se-conds can be selected.

Output relays D (optional) The output relays are assigned to the signal input with the same number and are working as image of the signal input.

Lamp test LT The lamp test button activates all LED's for about 5 seconds. If several units are connected together the lamp test is overlapping.

Group alarm GR The group alarm relay is active as long as a signal input of the own device is active. The relay switches off when all signal inputs of the unit are off. The DIP switch 9 can be used to switch between normally closed and normally open for the two relays common and group alarm.

Common alarm SA The common alarm relay is active as long as a signal input is active. If the unit works in a network the relay is activated by every signal input in the whole system. The relay switches off when all signal inputs are off. The DIP switch 9 can be used to switch between normally closed and normally open for the two relays common and group alarm.

Audible device / Horn The internal alarm (buzzer) and the relay contact are without function.

Programming

The programming is done with a DIP switch on the back of the device.
Changes in programming are activated immediately, a restart is not necessary.
The extended programming is not used at the moment.
